When you see our naturopath's - Belinda and Sophie you can expect exceptional care, support and advice as we work with you every step of the way towards creating your best health outcome. In your first consultation, which goes for an hour, you can expect to have your health story heard and we will ask you lots of questions about your health and lifestyle. Make sure you have filled out the initial questionnaire before your appointment and feel free to bring along any notes, pathology results or questions you want answered. Whilst we have a lot to talk about at the first appointment, we also develop the right health plan for you, to help you understand the cause of your problems. From here we develop appropriate steps to get you back on track and develop strategies to keep you well, should you come unstuck in the future.
Your first appointment will likely include a NES Body Scan and if required a Food Intolerance Test to allow us to then tailor a program or strategy to fit with you and your unique lifestyle situation (single person, mother, family member, carer, workaholic etc!). We understand that if you work long hours, are a parent, or if you are tired and unwell, that making big changes to your diet and lifestyle is not easy, so we will always aim to make suggestions achievable and go at your pace.
Once we have all the information we need and have heard from you what you expect to achieve, we will design simple and realistic strategies to help you get your health back on track. You will receive a booklet with your health assessment and treatment plan set out in clear, achievable steps so that you know the exact path you are traveling on. We will then discuss which natural medicines will have you feeling the best and the diet and lifestyle advice that will fit within your lifestyle to keep you well. We will never ask you to do anything that we would not do ourselves - we want you to get well and stay well.
We then catch up anywhere between 1-4 weeks later, to monitor your progress, check in with how you are feeling and adjust the plan as your body adapts to the changes.
