Pathology Testing

Our Naturopaths at North East Natural Health Centre are now offering standard and functional pathology testing to our clients, alongside our specialised naturopathic testing to ensure we have a full understanding of your case.

Standard Pathology: This is best to determine nutritional deficiencies, such as iron levels, as well as basic health markers such as cholesterol, liver and blood sugar readings.

Functional Pathology: Functional pathology can be ordered when there is difficult or chronic health complaints. This testing offers a range of hormone, metabolic, nutritional and gastrointestinal function profiles to ensure the cause of your health problems is accurately identified and managed.

Hormonal testing: our hormones are a constant seesaw effecting our whole body. At key times in a woman's life they will swing out of balance. Naturopathic medicine respects that they are often easy to rebalance, once we know how stress, diet and inflammation are  impacting on this seesaw, and this is why we often choose specialised hormonal testing via a saliva sample. This is much more accurate picture of your stress and female hormones and often means effective solutions to your problems with natural medicines.

If you require blood or saliva tests you will be sent with a referral script to your local pathology collection centre who will take the sample and forward it immediately to our specialist laboratory.
